/Cons/WCD/2024, Dated: 19/3/24 Regarding conducting one day workshop on Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 on 02.04.2024 at 11:00 AM onwards.

In this context, It has been observed that, despite the existence of many laws. schemes, and protection mechanisms in place, addressing the issues of domestic violence and child marriage continues to be a major challenge. As both are deep-rooted societal issues, there is a need for collective action from key functionaries, different stakeholders and all sections of the society. This department is organizing a workshop on "The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006" for different stakeholders in Haryana on 02.04.2024 at 11:00 A.M. onwards in the Haryana Kisan Bhawan, Sector-14, Panchkula.
